Gentlemen, Start Your Droids

Indianapolis is host to the Droidyard 500, held at the Star Wars Celebration III, where hobbyists will race fan made R2 units against each other. The race will be taken 2 droids at a time over the 30 yard convention floor. The gathering also allows people to buy plans, parts and other odds and ends to create more droids, which range in price based on various materials from $200 to $15,000.
