I have to admit, this thing looks pretty cool before the thing is even turned on. The Homestar created by Takayuki Ohira projects a galaxy of over 10,000 points onto your ceiling at about 0.01% of the cost of a planetarium projector.

I have no idea where you get it, couldnt find any retail information, I think ThinkGeek.com is selling something similar
They go on sale in Japan in July price will be around $200
