Quantum Wires

Rice University and NASA are developing expetimental carbon nanotube power cables AKA quantum wire. The wire would theoretically conduct electricity 10 times better than copper at 1/6 the weight. This could lead to lighter spacecraft as well as other applications such as faster computers.
