Sita Sings the Blues
Sita Sings The Blues is a really nice set of short animations created by Nina Paley based on the Hindu story of the Ramayana. The style is great, and its all set to old scratchy record music from 1929. For those of you who don't know the Ramayana there is a synopsis on Nisa's website.

Sita, would fall under the "stupid" category. It is clearly subliminal messaging packaged into flash format.
